Experience and Leadership
Frontinus was founded in 2019 by John W. Schultz following his retirement as a water utility manager after more than 40 years of service in municipal water and wastewater operations.
Throughout his career, Mr. Schultz worked directly with wells, distribution systems, treatment facilities, storage reservoirs, and field instrumentation. His experience spans day-to-day operations, system maintenance, capital planning, regulatory compliance, and emergency response.
This background informs Frontinus’ approach to system design and implementation. Monitoring and telemetry solutions are developed with a clear understanding of how systems are actually installed, operated, maintained, and supported by utility staff over time.
